How to use HelichrysumUpdated a year ago

You can apply essential oils topically on your skin, however, it is recommended to dilute pure essential oils with a carrier oil, such as Almond or Coconut Oil, before application to help ‚ 'carry' the essential oils safely onto the skin and prevent irritation that can be caused by using undiluted essential oils.

For every 1 teaspoon of carrier oil, you'll use 1-2 drops of pure Helichrysum essential oil. You can find our selection of carrier oils here. You can also mix 1-2 drops of Helichrysum essential oil with a dollop of lotion or face/body cream if a carrier oil is not readily available.

Please note: Our Helichrysum Roll-On is prediluted with Fractionated Coconut Oil as a carrier oil, so it does not require further dilution; simply apply the roll-on oil to your skin.

For help with wounds, bruises, and varicose veins, simply apply to the problem areas. For aromatic benefits, apply to pressure points such as the wrists, temples, chest, neck, or behind the ear lobes. You can do this as frequently as you like as there is no set rule for how long you want to feel or see the benefits of the oil, however, we would suggest applying the diluted Helichrysum Oil mixture at least twice daily for best results. Alternatively, you can also add 3-5 drops of Helichrysum essential oil in a bath with hot or warm water to relax and help relieve stress.

Please note: we recommend attempting a small skin patch test on the wrist with a drop of the diluted essential oil to ensure you do not have a skin sensitivity.
